Policing Committee

Council passed C-1371-25 - Policing Committee Bylaw establishing the Policing Committee (PC) to provide advice to the Officer in Charge, Council, and Administration on policing matters.

At the start of every year, PC prepares an annual work plan which is presented to City Council for approval. The work plan encompasses the issues that PC will work on during the year and subsequently report to Council. Please see the 2026 Policing Committee Work Plan.
