Council passed C-1371-25 - Policing Committee Bylaw establishing the Policing Committee (PC) to provide advice to the Officer in Charge, Council, and Administration on policing matters.

The Committee shall consist of no less than five members and no more than seven members and shall be comprised of: no less than three (3) and up to six (6) public members (of which, one (1) shall be a youth member) and no less than one (1) and no more than two (2) members of Council.

Committee Composition

The Committee is comprised of the following members:

• Councillor Brad Mastaler
• Councillor Erin Stevenson

The public members of the Committee will be approved and appointed by Council in December 2025.

Schedule

The 2026 meeting schedule will be established by the Committee at their Organizational Meeting in early 2026.
