Alley Snow Removal
Alley snow removal occurs after residential street snow removal and after other higher priority roads have been cleared to an acceptable condition.
To assist with efficient snow removal, residents are reminded that debris should not obstruct the alley. Debris such as basketball nets, garbage or other items are not permitted to be stored in the road right of way (alley) at any time of year. Also, parking is not permitted in an alley. If a vehicle is illegally parked, it may be towed.
Alley snow removal progress
Alleys throughout Spruce Grove are assessed and continually monitored during alley snow removal operations. The order of alley snow removal operations is based on a variety of factors including the depth of snow, possibility of future drainage concerns, and waste collection dates. Additionally, not every alley within a subdivision may require snow removal.
When alley snow removal is in progress, the information below will be updated daily Monday to Friday during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Please note this information is subject to change depending on factors including, but not limited to, weather conditions (such as additional snowfall that requires crews to revisit higher priority roads), equipment availability, and the amount of snowpack to be cleared.
