Teen Programs
Wondering what's going on for Youth through the City of Spruce Grove this summer? This summer in Spruce Grove, teens can stay active, connect with friends, and try something new through registered programs and drop-in opportunities designed just for them. Whether you’re looking to be active, get creative, or just hang out in a welcoming space, summer is all about making the most of your time and finding your place in the community.
Youth at the Log Cabin
Free and Drop in
Drop-in to play games, work on art projects and connect with friends. Each day will have a scheduled activity starting at 4 p.m. with regular occurring drop-in activities available from 1p.m. - 8 p.m.
Ages: 12 - 18
Time: 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Location: Lion's Log Cabin (in Central Park - 454 King Street)
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Programming starts Tuesday, July 7 and runs until Thursday, August 20.
Teen Retreat
Registered Program
Each day is going to be a new experience for teens ages 13-17! Come join us at the Teen Retreat to make friends, gain life insight, get active with swimming, some healthy competition and more. This program also includes a mystery field trip!
Program Fee: $180
Ages: 13 - 18

Leaders in Training
Looking for ways to gain valuable work experience? Apply to volunteer as a Leader in Training (LIT) and meet new friends while getting leadership volunteer experience. As a volunteer you will be partnered with Program Leaders to support summer programs, such as Adventure Camp, Art Explorer Camp, and Pop-Up Playground.
- Youth wishing to participate as a Leader in Training must apply. Applying to the program does not guarantee that you will be a successful candidate.
- Applicants must be available for mandatory interview and training / orientation sessions.
- Participants who complete 35 hours of volunteering will receive a certificate of completion and a reference letter.
- Volunteer placements are available throughout July and August and generally take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Monday – Friday).

Program Staff
All program activities are supervised by City of Spruce Grove Program Staff. Program Staff are certified in Intermediate First Aid and CPR, High Five® Principles of Healthy Child Development, and receive additional City of Spruce Grove training.
Inclusion for Campers with Disabilities
We want all participants to have the best camp experience. During the registration process, please let us know about any needs that might affect participation. If your child requires additional support beyond what Program Staff can provide, we may ask you to arrange for a support worker or aide to join at camp.

Refund and Transfer Policy
The full registration fee will be refunded or applied to a transfer up to 14 days prior to the start date of your program. Within 14 days of the program start date, a refund will not be provided. Refunds may take 5-7 business days to process.
