Adventure Camps
Come join us for Adventure Camp! This registered program takes place weekly throughout the summer for children ages 6 – 12. Adventure Camp is a safe, fun way to meet new friends, stay active and make memories! Activities and experiences including biking, swimming, hiking, games, crafts and a weekly field trip are all part of the fun.

**Swimming activities take place at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre and Gym activities take place at Aerials Gymnastics, however, drop off and pick up for camp will take place at Border Paving Athletic Centre

5-day camp: $232.00
4-day camp: $187.00

Pre & Post Care Available
Need extra time? We've got you covered! Pre and Post-Care can be added at the time of registration.
Early drop-off: 8 a.m.
Late pick-up: 5 p.m.
5-day camp: $25/week for early drop-off, $25/week for late pick-up
4-day camp: $20/week for early drop-off, $20/week for late pick-up
Pre/Post care includes: stories, games, and activity centers.

Week 1: Ready, Set, Adventure!

Jump into a week of discovery, teamwork, and excitement as Campers create their own treasure maps, embark on thrilling treasure hunts, and complete adventurous quests. We will conquer adventure-style challenges, including obstacle courses, while learning outdoor adventure skills. Get ready for endless exploration and unforgettable adventures right in Spruce Grove.

Week 2: Going Green
📅 July 13 – 17 | Program: 12317
We are dreaming of a day at the beach and this week is all about fun in the sun with water games. Campers will visit a local spray park, compete in a variety of water games, and show off their creativity in a sandcastle-building contest. With plenty of splash-filled activities, get ready to dive into the week and be prepared to get soaked!

Week 3: Animal Adventures

Get ready to explore the wild world of animals! Campers will learn about creatures big and small through games, crafts, and hands-on activities inspired by wildlife, habitats, and animal behaviours. Every day is a new adventure in the animal kingdom!

Week 4: Mission Possible

Calling all secret agents! Step into a world of special missions and work together to complete exciting challenges and crack the code. Each day brings new missions, Minute-to-Win-It–style games, and team challenges that test agility, problem-solving, and cooperation. From undercover obstacle courses to high-energy games, Campers will build confidence, teamwork, and resilience as they prove that every mission is possible.

Week 5: Wave Makers

From the beach to under the sea, Campers will dive into a week of water-inspired fun! Wave Makers is all about splashy activities, ocean-themed games, and creative challenges that celebrate everything water-related. Campers will stay active with wet and wild games, team challenges, and playful activities designed to cool off and keep the fun flowing. Get ready to make waves, beat the heat, and enjoy a refreshing week of summer adventure! Prepare to get wet!

Week 6: Cosmic Curiosity

Blast off into a week of space and science exploration! Campers will fuel their curiosity through hands-on experiments, creative challenges, and out-of-this-world games inspired by space, planets, and the wonders of science. From cosmic crafts and simple STEM activities to active group challenges, campers will explore how things work while building teamwork, and curiosity. Get ready to launch!

Week 7: Heroes in Training

Calling all heroes! Campers will unleash their inner superhero as they take part in action-packed games, creative challenges, and team missions inspired by their favourite superheroes. Along the way, campers will also learn about everyday superheroes—helpers in our community who show kindness, courage, and teamwork.

Program Staff
All Adventure Camp activities and field trips are supervised by City of Spruce Grove Program Staff. Program Staff are certified in Intermediate First Aid and CPR, High Five® Principles of Healthy Child Development, and receive additional City of Spruce Grove training.
Inclusion for Campers with Disabilities
We want your child to have the best camp experience. During the registration process, please let us know about any needs that might affect participation. If your child requires additional support beyond what Program Staff can provide, we may ask you to arrange for a support worker or aide to join at camp.

Refund and Transfer Policy
The full registration fee will be refunded or applied to a transfer up to 14 days prior to the start date of your program. Within 14 days of the program start date, a refund will not be provided. Refunds may take 5-7 business days to process.
