Come join us for Adventure Camp! This registered program takes place weekly throughout the summer for children ages 6 – 12. Adventure Camp is a safe, fun way to meet new friends, stay active and make memories! Activities and experiences including biking, swimming, hiking, games, crafts and a weekly field trip are all part of the fun.

**Swimming activities take place at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre and Gym activities take place at Aerials Gymnastics, however, drop off and pick up for camp will take place at Border Paving Athletic Centre

Week 1: Adventure Awaits

Are you ready to start the summer off with adventure? Campers will dive into the excitement by creating their own treasure maps, embark on a thrilling treasure hunt, conquer an obstacle course, and learn outdoor survival skills. Get ready for endless exploration and unforgettable adventures right here in Spruce Grove!

Week 2: Beach Week
📅 July 14 – 18 | Program: 12191
We are dreaming of a day at the beach and this week is all about fun in the sun with water games. Campers will visit a local spray park, compete in a variety of water games, and show off their creativity in a sandcastle-building contest. With plenty of splash-filled activities, get ready to dive into the week and be prepared to get soaked!

Week 3: Nature Nuts
📅 July 21 – 25 | Program: 12192
Explore the wild side of Spruce Grove! From fascinating wildlife to vibrant wildflowers, nature’s wonders are all around us. Campers will embark on hands-on adventures, dive into outdoor exploration, and get their hands dirty with fun gardening activities. Along the way, they'll uncover ways to make a positive impact on the environment and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.

Week 4: Lost in Space
📅 July 28 – August 1 | Program: 12193
Blast off into a week of space-themed fun where the sky is the limit! Campers will create galaxy-inspired slime, design and build their own rockets, and embark on an exciting journey to explore the wonders of outer space. Get ready to make new friends and create memories that are out of this world.

Week 5: Wild for Animals
📅 August 5 – 8  (4 days)| Program: 12194
Let's have a wild time as Adventure Camp jumps into the amazing world of animals! Campers will discover fascinating creatures, from the tiniest insects to the mightiest mammals, while exploring their habitats and behaviors. With fun activities like animal-themed crafts, wildlife games, and hands-on learning, participants will develop a deeper appreciation for the animal kingdom and have a roaring good time.

Week 6: Superhero Academy
📅 August 11 – 15 | Program: 12195
Unleash your superpowers during an action-packed week of hero-inspired fun. Campers will create their own superhero, design powerful gadgets, and conquer thrilling challenges as they work together to save the day. From epic challenges to team missions, this week is all about building strength, courage, and teamwork while discovering your inner hero.

Program Staff

All Adventure Camp activities and field trips are supervised by City of Spruce Grove Program Staff. Program Staff are certified in Intermediate First Aid and CPR, High Five® Principles of Healthy Child Development, and receive additional City of Spruce Grove training.

Inclusion for Campers with Disabilities

We want your child to have the best camp experience. During the registration process, please let us know about any needs that might affect participation. If your child requires additional support beyond what Program Staff can provide, we may ask you to arrange for a support worker or aide to join at camp.

Refund and transfer policy

The full registration fee will be refunded or applied to a transfer up to 14 days prior to the start date of your program. Within 14 days of the program start date, a refund will not be provided.  Refunds may take 5-7 business days to process.
