Grove Gatherings

Grove Gatherings is back for another season! Join us for free, family-friendly performances in Spruce Grove parks. Each Tuesday brings something new - whether it’s music, dance, cultural celebration, or circus-style fun - all set against the backdrop of our city’s beautiful outdoor spaces.
All performances start at 6:30 p.m. and are one hour long. Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket, find a comfy spot, and enjoy an evening of live entertainment in your community.
Important to note: the schedule below is subject to change based on inclement weather. If a performance is cancelled due to weather, it will be rescheduled for another day. Watch this page and City social media feeds for the latest information.

Rapid Fire Theatre
- July 8 - 6:30 p.m.
- Genre: Improv Theatre
Central Park - 450 King St.
Rapid Fire Theatre is one of North America’s longest-running improv comedy companies and they have been entertaining audiences for 40 years. They have appeared at festivals all over the world in exotic places like Berlin, Milan, Sydney, and even Winnipeg!

Ryan Snow
- July 15 - 6:30 p.m.
- Genre: Country
Columbus Park - 116 Main St.
Travel back with the timeless country sound of Ryan Snow, a local artist who has been captivating audiences since winning the CFCW Global Country Star Search and receiving the prestigious Bev Munro Rising Star Award in 2018. From intimate performances at seniors' lodges to lively shows at rodeos, Ryan delivers the timeless melodies you know and love to every stage and is keeping the heart of real country music alive for audiences young and old.

- July 22 - 6:30 p.m.
- Genre: Indie Rock/Irish
Central Park - 450 King St.
0Stella is an Alt-Rock Irish Fusion force where sound, sustainability, and connection meet. Based in Edmonton, Alberta and inspired by PJ Harvey’s song, 'Oh, Stella,' the name celebrates the power of opposites coming together. With a deep connection to the natural world and 8,500 km of cycle touring under her belt, 0Stella’s about making an impact, not just noise.

Dallas Arcand
- July 29 - 6:30 p.m.
- Genre: Hoop Dance
Jubilee Park (at Red Shelter) - 510 Grove Dr.
Dallas Arcand is a three-time World Champion Hoop Dancer, Indigenous entertainer, and proud member of Alexander First Nation. Based in Edmonton, he has spent over 30 years performing across Canada and internationally, showcasing hoop dance, traditional flute, and song. Dallas has appeared at major events including the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympics, Calgary Stampede, and Frankfurter Buchmesse. A graduate of Mount Royal University and the National Indigenous Professional Artist Training (NIPAT) program, he now mentors other Indigenous artists. His documentary Hoop Life (2018) shares his story and the art of hoop dancing.

Jojo's Magic Circus

Get ready to dance, wiggle, giggle, and cheer for Jojo's Magic Circus! As the youngest member in a family of circus performers, Jojo shares silly stunts and dazzling magic wherever he goes. But he’ll need help from his trusty rubber chicken, Nuggets. As the world's only flying chicken, Nuggets makes daring leaps and bounds while Jojo juggles him. This duo is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone and keep families amazed!

Sean Pinchin
- August 12 - 6:30 p.m.
- Genre: Blues/R&B
Columbus Park - 116 Main St.
During his almost 20-year career, Juno-nominated Sean Pinchin has shared stages with Sonny Landreth, Tinsley Ellis, Jeff Lang, Mel Brown, Steve Strongman, Monkey Junk, Phillip Sayce, Dione Taylor, The War and Treaty, Birds of Chicago, Colin James, and Kim Churchill. During this time, he has developed into one of the country’s most unique and original slide guitar players. With multiple releases to his credit and both Juno and Maple Blues recognitions, Sean continues to inspire and delight audiences all over North America.

Strictly Business

- Genre: Hits of the 50s and 60s
Central Park - 450 King St.
Strictly Business Theatre is an Edmonton based theatre company producing and performing both hilariously entertaining and heartwarming cabarets. Cabaret, to us, is essentially a variety show comprised of song and dance, tied together with stories and jokes. We love to share our cabarets in a casual and fun environment. As we often say, "Come laugh with us or at us; as long as you're there!"

Jed and the Valentine
- August 26 - 6:30 p.m.
- Genre: Folk/Pop
Columbus Park - 116 Main St.
Armed with their own personal brand of prairie-folk, Edmonton's Jed and the Valentine write sun-dappled, genre-defying folk songs that blend soul-stirring harmonies with earthy guitar strums and wistful banjo plucking. In just a few years, the duo has seen growth happen in double-time; they have quickly grown their social media following collectively to a quarter of a million and have found themselves on the stages of major folk festivals in Western Canada, proving quickly that this duo is undeniably one to watch.
