Pop-Up Playground is a free drop-in program with fun activities that rotate through parks and playgrounds in Spruce Grove during July and August. Designed for kids to attend with friends, parents or caregivers, each week will feature a different theme and special activities with games and crafts. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and must be available in the event of an emergency.

Pop-Up Playground runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (excluding holidays).

Keep in mind

• This is a free drop-in program
• Parents / Caregivers are responsible for their children at all times
• Younger children (six and under) are welcome to attend with caregiver supervision
• Let our leaders know if you have any medical concerns or allergies that could impact participation
• Play responsibly and at your own risk

Special events

📅 End of Summer Bash: August 18 - 22 (5 days)
Pop Up Playground will celebrate the end of the summer season with special activities including bouncy castles, face painting, sparkle tattoos and a balloon artist rotating all week long!

Program Staff

All program activities are supervised by City of Spruce Grove Program Staff.  Our Program Staff are certified in Intermediate First Aid and CPR, High Five® Principles of Healthy Child Development, and receive additional City of Spruce Grove training

Inclusion for Participants with Disabilities

We want your child to have the best experience at Pop-Up Playground. Please check in with one of our Program Staff onsite for how we can support participation. If your child requires additional support beyond what Program Staff can provide, we may ask you to arrange for a support worker or aide to join at camp.
