Starting May 3, Eco Centre will have updated hours, including being open on Sundays

The Eco Centre is updating its operating days and hours allowing residents to access the facility every day of the week. Starting May 3, the Eco Centre will be open on Sundays and shifting its regular hours of operation to 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Sunday. The Eco Centre will remain closed on statutory holidays.

The Eco Centre, located at 50 Diamond Ave., is a drop-off facility for residents needing to dispose of extra waste, recycling, and organics as well as items that can’t be collected in regular waste collection. These expanded operating hours will provide residents with everyday access to safely dispose of garbage and recyclable items keeping harmful materials out of the landfill.
