With the arrival of cooler temperatures, the City’s 2025 construction season is officially wrapping up. This year construction work focused on six key projects and invested $15 million to help improve infrastructure in the community. Construction projects in 2025 included watermain and sewer rehabilitation, road resurfacing and expansion, alleyway resurfacing, and water pressure upgrades and much more.

Key infrastructure projects included:

  • Boundary Road construction from Copperhaven School to the new roundabout.
  • City Centre redevelopment work along Mohr Avenue, First Avenue, and on Madison Crescent.
  • The completion of the Re-imagined Central Park

Thank you to residents, businesses, and motorists for your patience during this year’s construction season and ensuring everyone got home safely.
