Together let's Spruce Up Spruce Grove
Join us for our FREE Celebration! This interactive event features tree planting (registration now full), free swag, education booths, nature activities and crafts related to environmental stewardship, forestry, and information on upcoming programs and events. Join in the fun - see you there!

Parking is available at: Spruce Grove City Hall, Woodhaven School and Yellowhead Regional Library. *Please note: There is NO PARKING available at the Christian Fellowship Church. |

Come visit our booths to learn more about each organization, what they do, and participate in fun activities!
- City Parks – tree planting check in/out– meeting spot
- City Community Development– information, snacks and clean-up supplies pick up
- City Programs & Events - children’s games
- Men’s Shed – bat houses, bird houses, shed literature
- AB Community Bat Program (Wildlife Conservation Society Canada) – come learn about bats!
- Western Financial Community Foundation – children’s colouring activity, information, gift basket raffle
- North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance - information about watershed management
- Backyard Birds - Children’s scavenger hunt, art, prizes
- North Wild (Northern Alberta Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation) - information about rescue and critical care for injured wild birds and small mammals
- Wagner Natural Area Society - information about the area and activities
- Alberta Capital Airshed – air quality information display, bike lights give-away
- City Environment – promote current environmental initiatives, swag, activities
- City Environment/U of A partnership – climate change
- Ag Society Community Gardens - Community Garden open house, compost workshop, children’s activity

We appreciate your interest in participating in the Community Tree Planting event, but this event is now full and we are unable to accept any new registrations.

We encourage you to get out and get active! Walk, bike, blade, roll over to the Celebration using our trail system.
Local transportation is available with a bus stop near the Celebration area.

Yes! The Celebration is intended for the entire community to participate for free. Bring your family, friends, children or come on your own to learn about the environment and how you can be a environmental steward in your neighbourhood.
All activities are drop in style with the exception of tree planting, which requires registration ahead of time and is now full.
Yes, we will have a limited supply of clean up supplies at the Celebration. Please come visit us at our booth.
