Help us shape the new Parks & Open Spaces Master Plan

The City of Spruce Grove is developing a new Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan to guide how parks, trails and open spaces are planned, developed, managed and improved over the next 15 years.

Spruce Grove has experienced significant growth since the City's previous Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan was completed in 2007. The new Master Plan will help the City understand current and future needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish priorities to guide future planning and investment.

The Plan will consider the broader parks and open space system, including parks, natural areas, trails and pathways, open spaces, stormwater management facilities, school sites, and future park lands within annexed areas.

Feedback and input from residents is an important part of developing this plan, and you're encouraged to have your say.

How the Community can Engage

"Come Plan a Park" Community BBQ + Build-a-Park Activity

About the project team

The City of Spruce Grove has retained RC Strategies to support the development of the Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan.

RC Strategies is a Canadian consulting firm specializing in recreation, parks, culture and community services planning. The RC Strategies team will work with City Administration, Council, residents, community organizations and other parties to complete research, gather community input and develop the Master Plan.
