Waste, organics and recycling collection schedule changes coming next month

Spruce Grove residents can expect some changes to the waste, organics and recycling collection schedule beginning mid-October.

Starting Oct. 19, all blue bag recycling will be collected on Mondays.

The change means some residents will have a new collection day for their green waste cart and black organics cart. If your waste and organics are currently collected on Mondays, your collection day will shift to one of the following:

• Tonewood & Fenwyck ➡️  moving to Tuesday collection
• Hilldowns ➡️  moving to Wednesday collection
• Prescott & Greenbury ➡️  moving to Thursday collection
• Spruce Village & Kenton Village ➡️  moving to Friday collection

Residents are encouraged to take note of their new collection day and make sure their waste and organics are set out at the appropriate time.

If your waste and organics carts are picked up on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, nothing will change. Only recycling will shift to Mondays.
