The City of Spruce Grove is proud to announce it is the recipient of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Triple Crown Award for the City’s 2023 Annual Report, 2023 Popular Annual Financial Report, and 2023 Budget Presentation.

The Triple Crown Award is awarded to local governments that earn all three of GFOA’s top recognitions — the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award, and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. The City of Spruce Grove is one of only five Alberta municipalities who achieved the Triple Crown Award for the 2023 fiscal year.

Earning the Triple Crown Award is an accomplishment that highlights the City’s dedication to transparency, excellence, and clarity in financial reporting. It highlights the City’s commitment to not only preparing high-quality financial documents, but also ensuring the information is accessible and understandable for the public.
