Navigating Tomorrow Edmonton Region Household Travel Survey
Starting September 2025, the City of Edmonton, the Government of Alberta, and regional municipal partners, including the City of Spruce Grove, are launching the Navigating Tomorrow Edmonton Region Household Travel Survey. The information gathered through the annual survey will directly guide decisions that shape residents’ daily lives across the Edmonton region, such as investments in roads, public transit, and connected pathways.
Taking the survey will help regional partners better understand how people travel between communities, and survey feedback will support the creation of the best possible transportation system for our region.
What to expect?
Starting in 2025, a random selection of residents will be mailed a unique code to access the survey. The survey will be distributed weekly until the end of the year. Every year following, larger household selections will receive invitations to complete the survey to continue to expand feedback.
Residents can then complete the survey online, through the rMove app, or by telephone. All responses will be kept private. By taking the survey, residents can directly help improve regional transportation systems for everyone. This means more regional travel options, better regional transit services, and a transportation system that is accessible and affordable for all.
