Spruce Up Spruce Grove is a community powered volunteer initiative that brings residents together to care for our environment, strengthen neighbourhood connections, and make a lasting impact. With two exciting ways to get involved each year, everyone can play a part in keeping our city vibrant and beautiful.

Community Clean-Up: April 14 to May 15, 2026

Each year, residents, schools, community groups, and local businesses are invited to “Spruce-Up” their neighbourhoods and the wider community through self directed litter clean-ups. This activity supports environmental sustainability, protects natural spaces, and builds community pride while offering meaningful ways to give back to the place we call home.

Community Tree Planting: May 23, 2026

Volunteers can help grow the future of Heritage Grove Park through a hands-on tree planting experience. In 2026, planting will expand into new areas, creating even more opportunities for residents to contribute to the health and beauty of our urban forest.
