Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Hearing

The following appeals will come before the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) of the City of Spruce Grove on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, Third Floor, Spruce Grove City Hall at 315 Jespersen Avenue:

1. Refusal of Development Permit PLDPR202600527 to construct one unit of four unit row house with detached garage, and secondary suite within a R1-Mixed Low to Medium Density Residential District, located at 33 Patterson Gate, legally described as Plan 2522489; Block 113; Lot 17. The Development Permit Application was refused on July 28, 2026.
2. Refusal of Development Permit PLDPR202600528 to construct one unit of four unit row house with detached garage, and secondary suite within a R1-Mixed Low to Medium Density Residential District, located at 35 Patterson Gate, legally described as Plan 2522489; Block 113; Lot 18. The Development Permit Application was refused on July 28, 2026.
3. Refusal of Development Permit PLDPR202600529 to construct one unit of four unit row house with detached garage, and secondary suite within a R1-Mixed Low to Medium Density Residential District, located at 37 Patterson Gate, legally described as Plan 2522489; Block 113; Lot 19. The Development Permit Application was refused on July 28, 2026.
4. Refusal of Development Permit PLDPR202600530 to construct one unit of four unit row house with detached garage, and secondary suite within a R1-Mixed Low to Medium Density Residential District, located at 39 Patterson Gate, legally described as Plan 2522489; Block 113; Lot 20. The Development Permit Application was refused on July 28, 2026.

If you or someone you represent is affected by the proposed development you may participate in person at the hearing or provide a written submission to the SDAB. If you wish to submit written material to the SDAB for inclusion in the hearing agenda package, it should be received by the Clerk by noon on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 by email, or by mail, SDAB Clerk, 315 Jespersen Avenue, Spruce Grove, Alberta, T7X 3E8. Visuals such as PowerPoint presentations, photos, or graphics are considered to be a written submission. If you are unable to meet this submission deadline, please bring 10 copies of the materials to the hearing and they will be distributed at the start of the hearing. Any written and/or visual material received will be made available to the public.
