Plan Your Day

Have a safe and enjoyable time at the Canada Day Celebration by keeping these things in mind:

  • All events are outdoors. Check the weather forecast before you arrive, dress appropriately and be prepared. Bring sunscreen, water, a jacket, and an umbrella (it is Alberta after all!).
  • Parents and caregivers: Be sure to take a photo of your child before you leave home. If you get separated at the park, use the Report a Missing Child form and attach the photo. The information will be distributed to Enforcement officers on site to help reunite lost kids with their families as quickly as possible.
  • While dogs on a leash are normally welcome at Jubilee Park, for the safety and comfort of all, please leave your four-legged friends at home on Canada Day.
  • Most food and market vendors accept debit/credit, but it's a good idea to bring some cash as well. ATMs are available on site.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle to fill up on site.
  • Smoking and vaping is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Cannabis use is not permitted.
  • Alcohol is not permitted on site and the designated Alcohol Allowed zone at Jubilee Park will be temporarily closed.
  • Jubilee Park fire pits will be temporarily closed.
