I understand and agree to the following terms:

a) I agree to attend a training session on September 29, September 30, or October 1, 2025;

b) I am responsible for my own transportation to and from the voting station;

c) I understand that the City of Spruce Grove will endeavor to accommodate all work requests (e.g. shifts, locations); however, accommodation of requests cannot be guaranteed;

d) I confirm I am not a City of Spruce Grove employee for the purposes of working the Election;

e) It is my responsibility to report any compensation I receive for my election work for income tax purposes;

f) I understand that the provisions of Policy 6,039 - Use of Municipal Resources for Election Campaigns will apply to me if I am hired as an election worker; and

g) If I become a candidate in the election, or if any member of my family becomes a candidate in the election, I will immediately notify the Returning Officer by email at elections@sprucegrove.org or by calling 780-962-7634, Ext. 425). Family includes spouse, child, stepchild, ward, parent, guardian, brother, sister, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, and niece or nephew.

Your personal information is being collected under the authority of section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, RSA, 2000 and will be used for the selection and hiring, position assignments, training, and remuneration of election workers. It will be treated in accordance with the privacy protection provisions of Part 2 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
