Park and ride is available at the Agrena in Spruce Grove. Residents can park anywhere east of Central Park and west of the Agrena. These park and ride stalls are available free of charge for use on weekdays.

The Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass) is accepted by Spruce Grove Transit and is fully transferable to all other transit systems in the Capital Region. Students purchase their U-Pass through participating post-secondary educational institutions:

  • University of Alberta
  • MacEwan University
  • Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)
  • NorQuest College

U-Pass stickers are issued by the educational institution for each term and are placed on student photo identification cards. The sticker must be displayed when boarding a bus, and must be with the student at all times on the LRT.

Eligibility

Eligibility for U-Pass is governed by the educational institution.

If you do not qualify for a U-Pass, Spruce Grove also has a youth/student pass.

U-Pass and other municipalities

In addition to connecting into the Edmonton Transit System, students can use their U-Pass to travel to any of the Capital Region communities of Leduc, Strathcona County, Ft. Saskatchewan and St. Albert.
