Restrictions Exemption Program (REP) ends at participating City facilities

February 9, 2022

In response to the Government of Alberta’s announcement and three-step approach to phase out public health measures, the City has ended its participation in the Province’s Restrictions Exemption Program (REP).

City facilities that were participating in the REP were Horizon Stage, Elks Hall, the Agrena, and the Border Paving Athletic Centre. The REP has now ended at these facilities. Visitors will not be required to show proof of vaccination or identification to access these or any other City facilities.

While the REP has been lifted as part of step one, all City facilities will continue to follow all other current provincial public health actions. Details of the Province’s phased three-step approach are available online.

At this time, the City’s Emergency Management Agency is reviewing the details of the Province’s announcement to determine how it will impact City operations in the coming weeks.

Additional information will be provided as available. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through these details.
