Residents asked for feedback on City’s draft Strategic Plan
Spruce Grove City Council, along with the City Administration, have developed a draft 2022-2025 Strategic Plan to guide their work for the duration of Council’s current term and are asking for resident feedback through an online survey.
“Each member of Council took what they heard from the campaign trail and came together to determine common goals and priorities, which are reflected in this draft plan,” said Mayor Jeff Acker. “Asking the community for their feedback on the goals outlined in the draft plan is an important step to determine if we’re on the right track in setting the direction for our city.”
“Once finalized, this plan will serve as the roadmap Council is choosing to take for their current term and will guide Administration in our work for the next four years,” said City Manager Dean Screpnek. “Gathering input from residents at this point will help ensure this draft is in line with the aspirations of the local community before it is formally adopted by Council.”
Spruce Grove residents and businesses owners are encouraged to review the draft plan and provide feedback through an online survey, which will be open until July 4, 2022. Survey results will be presented to Council on July 18, and the final Strategic Plan will be presented to Council for their formal approval and adoption on August 22.
