Highlights from 2023-2025 Recommended Corporate Plan and Budget 2023; residents invited to ask questions at upcoming Committee of the Whole meeting
Residents are invited to review highlights from the City of Spruce Grove’s 2023-2025 Recommended Corporate Plan and Budget 2023 in advance of an upcoming Committee of the Whole meeting dedicated to these topics.
This highlights document is an overview of what City Administration is proposing to Council in terms of programs, services, fees and property taxes for next year.
The Recommended Corporate Plan and 2023 proposed budget will be presented to City Council during a Committee of the Whole meeting on November 7, November 8, and November 9.
During this meeting, Council will review the Recommended Corporate Plan, discuss Administration’s recommendations and provide direction that will inform the revised 2023-2025 Corporate Plan, which will be presented at the December 5 Council meeting.
Additionally, residents can participate in the public question and answer period on November 7 to ask a question on the Recommended Corporate Plan in the following ways:
- In person: To ask a question in person, register by emailing cityclerk@sprucegrove.org or calling 587-336-0387 before noon on November 7. When registering, residents are asked to provide the question they intend to ask.
- Submit a question in advance: Residents can submit a question to be asked on their behalf by emailing cityclerk@sprucegrove.org until the public question and answer period on November 7 is complete.
In-person attendees will have two minutes to ask their question and one question per person is permitted. If a question has already been asked, another individual will not be permitted to ask the same question.
Questions may be answered during the meeting or may be referred to Administration for further research; in all cases residents will receive a reply.
