As the situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19 ) continues to unfold, the City of Spruce Grove will be taking some necessary actions to respond to this rapidly changing issue.
“The health and safety of our residents and our staff is of the utmost importance to us,” said Spruce Grove Mayor Stuart Houston. “These decisions have been made with a focus on keeping our community well and we would like to reassure residents that the City has plans in place to ensure that essential services are maintained during this time.”

Starting Monday, March 16, we will be posting daily website updates at www.sprucegrove.org/COVID19 to keep our community informed during this rapidly changing situation.
We are asking our staff to take various precautions, including limiting in-person meetings and reconsidering personal travel plans. We have also postponed any out-of-province staff development until further notice.
We continue to ask the community, as well as our staff, to take actions that will prevent the spread of germs by practicing healthy habits such as proper and frequent handwashing, catching germs in tissues or the inside of your elbow, and staying home if you are experiencing fever or cough.
