City preparing to launch new online portal for permits, business licences and inspections

The City of Spruce Grove will be launching a new online portal that will make it easier and more convenient for builders, developers, business owners and residents to apply for permits, business licences and other related applications.

Expected to launch to the public later this spring, CityView will provide many benefits to improve the building and development experience. Those who register for a secure CityView account will be able to:

• Apply online 24/7 for development permits, construction and trades permits, lot grading, business licences and other applications and approvals provided by the City
• Submit required documents via the CityView Portal and see all applications and documents in one place
• View the status of existing applications
• Pay fees online with a credit card
• Benefit from faster processing times due to CityView system efficiencies

Spruce Grove City Council received a CityView presentation and demonstration during the February 22, 2022, Committee of the Whole meeting.

CityView is currently in a testing phase and more details will be shared about its official launch in the coming weeks.
