City launching survey to help establish business priorities

The City of Spruce Grove will be conducting a telephone survey between June 28 and July 22, 2022, to better understand the plans and needs of the local business community.

Businesses will be randomly selected and contacted to participate in the survey, which will also ask how business owners/managers view Spruce Grove as a place to operate. The telephone survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.

“This survey will provide us with helpful information in guiding City policies and direction moving forward,” said Mayor Jeff Acker. “I would encourage every business who receives a call to participate to provide us with as much insight as possible.”

The City has retained the Economic and Policy Advisory team at Deloitte LLP to assist with the project. Deloitte will be working with City staff to review the survey results to identify both challenges and opportunities the local business community is facing. Results will be used to plan future economic development activities that are focused on the top priorities of local businesses.
