City honours staff at Long Service Awards celebration

January 30, 2020

City staff with a combined 295 years of service were recognized at the annual Staff Service Award luncheon this week. The luncheon celebrated the dedication and commitment of 34 staff members who have been with the City from between 5-30 years.

“Our greatest resource is our people. We are grateful for and very proud of the staff that were recognized this week.” said Simon Farbrother, City Manager, City of Spruce Grove. “Thank you for your commitment to the City of Spruce Grove and its citizens. Your hard work and dedication help make this a great city.”

The Service Award celebration, held on January 30, not only recognizes staff who have celebrated milestone years with the City but also the enthusiasm and determination they display in their work each day.

The recipients are from several departments across the City including Finance, Protective Services, Public Works, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Environment and Transit, Facilities and Fleet Management, Recreation Services, Planning & Development, Cultural Services, and Information Systems.
