Call for artists for public mural project

The City of Spruce Grove, in partnership with the Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove, is accepting proposals from artists interested in creating Spruce Grove’s next public mural. The mural will be installed on the west exterior wall of the Agrena.

The theme is “honouring Spruce Grove’s agricultural history in a modern way”. Canadian artists at least 16 years of age are invited to submit their application by Sunday, January 15, 2023. A selection committee made up of representatives from the City, the Allied Arts Council and members of the public, will make its selection by the end of January. The grand unveiling is anticipated to take place in late March 2023.
