Be prepared in the case of a potential Canada Post service disruption

October 17, 2018

With the potential for a strike or lockout by Canada Post later this month, the City is asking residents to be prepared and make appropriate arrangements if necessary. In general, residents are asked to refrain from sending anything to the City by mail until the Canada Post labour negotiations have been resolved. Residents can drop off correspondence or payments directly at City Hall or use a courier service.

Residents are also reminded that they are responsible for making utility bill payments on time. If you are unsure if you have received your most recent utility bill, you can have one reprinted at City Hall.

Residents are encouraged to sign up for an Online Services account where they can see all their City of Spruce Grove accounts that are registered in their name and go paperless with their monthly utility bills by signing up for the City's e-bill notification service. This service will send you an e-mail notification when your utility bill is ready to view online.

Please note: With the potential for a postal service disruption, passwords for new Online Services accounts will not be mailed. Call 780-962-7597 or send an email to receive your temporary password to finish your Online Services registration, or for any other utility account related inquires.
