Bylaw C-1065-19 – Municipal Development Plan Amendment – Easton – Third Reading

Council gave third reading to Bylaw C-1065-19, approving the removal of urban village land use from the Municipal Development Plan.

Bylaw C-1066-19 – East Pioneer Area Structure Plan Amendment Easton Neighborhood – Third Reading

Council gave third reading to Bylaw C-1066-19, approving an amendment to the East Pioneer Area Structure Plan to replace the mixed use land with commercial, low to medium density residential and medium to high density residential. Other changes include the relocation of a storm water management facility, the introduction of the Easton Natural Area, and the identification of a central park/open space in the Easton neighborhood.

Bylaw C-1090-19 Safety Code Services Permit Bylaw Amendment – Third Reading

Council gave third reading to Bylaw C-1090-19, approving a new definition (suite) to the bylaw. The amendment also allows applications to be submitted electronically.

Bylaw C-1095-19 Council Procedure Bylaw Amendment – Consent Agenda – Third Reading

Council gave third reading to Bylaw C-1095-19, approving the use of consent agendas during City Council meetings.

Bylaw C-1098-19 Community Road Safety Advisory Committee Bylaw – Third Reading

Council gave third reading to Bylaw C-1098-19, approving the establishment of a community road safety advisory committee.

Bylaw C-1099-19 Road Closure – Portion of Oswald Drive – First Reading

Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1099-19, a road closure bylaw that proposes 0.5 hectares of surplus Oswald Drive right-of-way be closed and sold to an adjacent land owner for consolidation into a future industrial development.

Bylaw C-1094-19 City Manager’s Bylaw – First Reading

Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1094-19, which proposes the City Manager’s office be permitted to receive gifts valued up to $300. If approved, this would align with what can be accepted by council and Administration. Additionally, the bylaw would clarify the claims settlement authority delegated to the City Manager.
