Bylaw C-1107-20 – Municipal Utility Services Bylaw Amendment – First Reading
Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1107-20, which proposes including a section dedicated to stormwater utilities and a reference to the Fees and Charges Bylaw. The bylaw will return for second reading during a future City Council meeting.

Bylaw C-1108-20 – 2020 Fees and Charges Bylaw Amendment – First Reading
Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1108-20, which will set stormwater utility fees for 2020. The bylaw will return for second reading during a future City Council meeting.

Bylaw C-1111-20 – Land Borrowing Bylaw Amendment – First Reading
Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1111-20, which will amend the bylaw to update the repayment terms of the debenture financing used to acquire lands for the Gateway Centre Development Project in the City (also known as the Westwind Lands) in 2010. The bylaw will return for second reading during a future City Council meeting.

Bylaw C-1096-19 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Text Amendment R2 District – Fee Simple Row Housing – First Reading
Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1096-19, which will amend the R2 - Mixed Medium to High Density Residential District to allow Row Housing, Street Oriented with rear attached Garage, on fee simple parcels. The bylaw will return for second reading during a future City Council meeting.

Bylaw C-1102-19 – Municipal Development Plan Amendment – EMRB Updates – First Reading
Council gave first reading to Bylaw C-1102-19, which will update the City’s Bylaw C-960-16 Municipal Development Plan Your Bright Future 2010 - 2020, to bring it into conformance with the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Growth Plan (the Growth Plan). The bylaw will return for second reading during a future City Council meeting.

Authorization to Conduct Non-statutory Public Hearing
Council approved a non-statutory public hearing to be held on Bylaw C-1107-20 - Municipal Utility Services Bylaw Amendment on Mar. 9, 2020 at 6 p.m. The amendment proposes to include a section dedicated to stormwater utilities.

Notice of Motion – City Centre Business Association Funding
A notice of motion was put forward that $10,000 be provided to the City Centre Association to support City Centre public market events, and that the funds be allocated from 2020 Council Contingency.
