Bylaw C-1090-19 Safety Code Services Permit Bylaw Amendment – First and Second Reading

Council gave first and second reading to Bylaw C-1090-19, which proposes adding a new definition (suite) to the bylaw and allow applications to be submitted electronically. The bylaw will return for third reading during a future City Council meeting.

Bylaw C-1095-19 Council Procedure Bylaw Amendment – Consent Agenda – First and Second Reading

Council gave first and second reading to Bylaw C-1095-19, which proposes amendments to the Council Procedure Bylaw for the implementation and use of a consent agenda during City Council meetings. The bylaw will return for third reading during a future council meeting.

Bylaw C-1098-19 Community Road Safety Advisory Committee Bylaw – First and Second Reading

Council gave first and second reading to Bylaw C-1098-19, which if approved would allow a community road safety advisory committee to be established. The bylaw will return for third reading during a future City Council meeting.

Request to Exercise Authority under Section 347 of the MGA

Council gave approval to exercise their authority under section 347(1)(a) of the Municipal Government Act with respect to tax roll 014535 by cancelling the portions of arrears and current penalties calculated on the variance between single-family and a multi-family property classification.
