Calling all Youth!
What Does Youth Mental Wellness Look Like in Spruce Grove?
Join the Westview PCN, Spruce Grove FCSS, and the Rural Mental Health project to explore what youth mental wellness looks like in our community!
For Youth Ages 11-25 living in Spruce Grove
Create a submission in the form of a colouring page or drawing about mental health that could be featured in a future community colouring book and/or other future Spruce Grove youth-related projects!
Important: submissions MUST relate to "What does Youth Mental Wellness Look Like in Spruce Grove" and/or reflect one of the "8 Domains of Mental Health"
("8 Domain Model" from the Canadian Mental Health Association - Alberta)
Running from July 18, 2022 until August 26, 2022 @ 5 p.m.
Submit in person at one of three Spruce Grove Locations:

Submissions must be at least 8.5 x 11” in size. Larger submissions are accepted. Youth are encouraged to submit as many submissions as they would like.
Each submission will be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of 30 gift cards ($20 value). Additionally, there are five prizes of $50 for submissions selected based on overall quality and embodiment of the “8 Domains of Mental Health”
Please note: Winners (or their parent/guardian, if under 18 years old) will be required to sign a consent form allowing the City of Spruce Grove, Westview Primary Care Network, and the Rural Mental Health Project to use their submission in future projects. Prizes must be picked up in person at Westview Primary Care Network. Should prizes not be picked up within two weeks, and if other arrangements are not made, the winner forfeits their right to a prize. Winners must take the prize as provided; no substitutions or exchanges will be permitted.
FOIP Notification: This personal information is being collected directly from participates under section 33 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act and is necessary for operating the “Youth Mental Wellness Art” initiative. Personal information collected will be used to verify eligibility and to contact the prizewinning participate. All personal information will be managed in accordance with the Act.
