Public Hearing - Proposed Amendments to Land Use Bylaw (2019 Review)

It is City Council’s intention to hold a virtual public hearing as part of their consideration of
Bylaw C-1104-19 2019 Land Use Bylaw Review Amendments. Bylaw C-1104-19, is the annual update of C-824-12 – Land Use Bylaw which is undertaken to make minor technical adjustments and provide clarity to existing definitions and regulations.

The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our May 25 virtual council meeting. 

Participation procedures

If you or someone you represent is affected by the proposed bylaw, you may participate in the virtual council meeting to address City Council at the Public Hearing. Those wishing to speak to Council must pre-register with the City Clerk by Monday, May 25 at 12 p.m. by email, or by phone at 587-336-0387. The City Clerk will provide registered participants with information necessary to access the public hearing by virtual means.

Written submissions will be accepted until noon on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. These must be signed, dated, and contain your civic address. Written submissions received by this date/time will be included as part of the council meeting agenda package and will be reviewed before oral representations are heard.

Copies of the proposed bylaw amendment(s) are available upon request from the Planning and Development Department by calling or emailing the case planner as noted below.
