It is the intention of Council to consider Bylaw C-1066-19 and C-1065-19.
Bylaw C-1066-19 is a bylaw to amend the East Pioneer Area Structure Plan (Bylaw C-843-13). The primary purpose of Bylaw C-1066-19 is to adjust the future land uses in the undeveloped neighbourhood of Easton, located north of Highway 16A, west of Pioneer Road, east of Lakewood, and south of the Tonewood neighbourhood. The primary change is the removal of a future urban village mixed use area and replacement with a mix of residential and commercial uses.
Bylaw C-1065-19 is a bylaw to amend the City of Spruce Grove Municipal Development Plan (Bylaw C-960-16). This bylaw will remove the Urban Village land use from Figure 8 Future Land Use and remove policy regarding this use from Sections 5.2.4.3 and 6.2.2.
