Public Hearing - Proposed Amendment to Land Use Bylaw (Prescott Stage 6)

It is City Council’s intention to hold a virtual public hearing as part of their consideration of Bylaw C-1125-20 Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Redistricting – Prescott Stage 6. This bylaw will redistrict 1.96 ha of land within the SW 12-53-27-W4, from UR- Urban Reserve to R1 - Mixed Low to Medium Density Residential. The proposed redistricting area would provide for new housing lots within the Prescott neighbourhood.

The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our August 17 virtual council meeting.

Participation procedures

If you or someone you represent is affected by the proposed bylaw, you may participate in the virtual council meeting to address City Council at the Public Hearing. Those wishing to speak to Council must pre-register with the City Clerk by Monday, August 17 at 12 p.m. by email, or by phone at 587-336-0387. The City Clerk will provide registered participants with information necessary to access the public hearing by virtual means.

Written submissions will be accepted until noon on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. These must be signed, dated, and contain your civic address. Written submissions received by this date/time will be included as part of the council meeting agenda package and will be reviewed before oral representations are heard.
