It is City Council’s intention to hold a public hearing as part of their consideration of Bylaw C-1195-22 Land Use Bylaw Text Amendment – Alcohol Sales, Major, Plan 142 2641, Block 1, Lot 1. This bylaw proposes a site specific text amendment to the Land Use Bylaw that would add Alcohol Sales, Major as a discretionary use in the C3 - Neighbourhood Retail and Service District for the future commercial site at 1 Dalton Link. In addition to the added discretionary use, site specific regulation is being proposed to limit the proposed use to a maximum floor area of 425m2.
The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our April 25 virtual council meeting.
If you or someone you represent is affected by the proposed bylaw, you may address Council at the public hearing by attending the meeting in-person or by participating virtually.

Residents can either verbally speak or submit a question or statement to Council by email until the Public Hearing is closed. To arrange to verbally speak you must pre-register with the City Clerk by Monday, April 25, 2022 at 12 p.m. by email email@example.com or by calling 587-336-0387. To provide an emailed question or statement you may email it to firstname.lastname@example.org until the Public Hearing is closed.
Written submissions will be received by the City Clerk by mail at City Hall, 315 Jespersen Avenue, Spruce Grove, AB, T7X 3E8, or by email to email@example.com, until noon on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. These must be signed, dated, and contain your civic address. Written submissions received by this date/time will be included as part of the council meeting agenda package.
