It is City Council’s intention to hold a virtual public hearing as part of their consideration of Bylaw C-1172-21 Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Ball Park District Phase 1 that would redistrict 15.3 hectares of land within Lot A, Plan 752 1163 and parts of roads registered under Plan 752 0162 and Plan 1282 LZ, all located within the SW 1-53-27-W4. This bylaw proposes a change from UR - Urban Reserve District to P2 – Natural Areas District, P1 – Parks and Recreation District, SE – Sports and Entertainment District, and C2 – Vehicle Oriented Commercial District. The proposed redistricting would provide for future development consisting of a baseball stadium within a mixed-use sports entertainment and commercial use area.
The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our October 12 virtual council meeting.
