Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Deer Park Commercial

It is City Council’s intention to hold a virtual public hearing as part of their consideration of Bylaw C-1170-21 Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Deer Park Commercial. This bylaw will redistrict 0.75 ha of land within Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 142 2641, from UR - Urban Reserve to C3 – Neighbourhood Retail and Service District. The proposed C3 redistricting would provide for the development of a commercial area that could accommodate a variety of uses including: Animal Service Facility, Health Services, Professional and Office Services, and Retail Sales.
The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our October 12 virtual council meeting.
If you or someone you represent is affected by the proposed bylaw, you may participate in the virtual council meeting to address City Council at the Public Hearing. Those wishing to speak to Council must pre-register with the City Clerk by Tuesday, October 12 at 12 p.m. by email, at email@example.com, or by telephone at 587-336-0387. The City Clerk will provide registered participants with information necessary to access the public hearing by virtual means.

Written submissions will be received by the City Clerk by mail at City Hall, 315 Jespersen Avenue, Spruce Grove, AB, T7X 3E8, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, until noon on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. These must be signed, dated, and contain your civic address. Written submissions received by this date/time will be included as part of the council meeting agenda package and will be reviewed before oral representations are heard.
