Public Hearing - Amendment to Municipal Development Plan (EMRB Updates)

It is City Council’s intention to hold a virtual public hearing as part of their consideration of Bylaw C-1102-19 Municipal Development Plan Amendment – EMRB Updates. This amendment proposes to update Bylaw C-960-16 Your Bright Future - Municipal Development Plan 2010 – 2020, to bring it into conformance with the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Growth Plan and make some minor maintenance-type changes.

The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our May 25 virtual council meeting.

Participation procedures

If you or someone you represent is affected by the proposed bylaw, you may participate in the virtual council meeting to address City Council at the Public Hearing. Those wishing to speak to Council must pre-register with the City Clerk by Monday, May 25 at 12 p.m. by email, or by phone at 587-336-0387. The City Clerk will provide registered participants with information necessary to access the public hearing by virtual means.

Written submissions will be accepted until noon on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. These must be signed, dated, and contain your civic address. Written submissions received by this date/time will be included as part of the council meeting agenda package and will be reviewed before oral representations are heard.
