Bylaws C-1012-17 and C-1013-17 Heritage Creek Area Structure Plan and Land Use Bylaw Amendments

It is the intention of Council to consider Bylaw C-1012-17, a bylaw to amend the Heritage Estates Area Structure Plan and Bylaw C-1013-17, a bylaw to amend the City of Spruce Grove Land Use Bylaw C-824-12.

The purpose of Bylaw C-1012-17 is to amend the Heritage Estates Area Structure Plan to convert two sites within the Hawthorne Neighbourhood from low/medium density residential to medium/high density residential.

The purpose of Bylaw C-1013-17 is to amend the HCL- Hawthorne Lifestyle Community District within the Land Use Bylaw to add multi-unit dwellings, special care facilities and accessory buildings as uses that may be considered within the District, to add regulations specific to multi-unit dwellings and special care facilities to minimize potential impacts from these uses to adjacent development, and to amend the definition of multi-unit dwellings to allow for temporary use.

Written submissions will be received by the City Clerk until noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Written submissions received before the designated time will be reviewed before oral presentations are heard.
