Hope, Health and Healing Symposium - This thing called grief

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jody Carrington is a Clinical Psychologist who has spent most of her career working with children and families who have experienced trauma and loss. She is passionate about police work and the toll trauma can take on people. Dr. Jody Carrington also has spent time working with families at the Ronald McDonald House and Victim Services.

Dr. Jody Carrington will spend some time on these topics:

  • Anticipatory Grief
  • Grief & Healing
  • Children’s Grief
  • Helping Someone Who is Grieving

Other sessions during the day will be interactive and engaging:

  • Secondary Trauma
