Utilities

If you are moving to Spruce Grove you need to set up a utilities account to pay for water services and solid waste collection. If you are already a resident, and are moving to another location within the city, you need to close your current account and open a new one.

Call us at 780-962-2611, e-mail us Email or come to City Hall to set up your account.

Renters (tenants) are required to pay a non interest-bearing deposit of $200, sign a consent to release utilities account information form PDF, and provide a copy of their lease agreement to open an account. Each person over 18 years of age on the lease agreement is required to complete an application form PDF. Home owners are not required to pay a deposit.

Utility accounts are billed every month and are due upon receipt. The billing is based on actual water consumption as indicated by your water meter, which is read by a city employee every month. If our meter-reader is unable to obtain a current meter reading your consumption will be estimated based on previous months’ consumption.
