Land Subdivision Fees


In accordance with Section 4(2) of the Subdivision and Development Regulation, each application for subdivision shall be accompanied by a fee. Fees are subject to change.

Planning and subdivision fees
Advertising costs
Advertising (1/4 page) $165 + GST
Advertising (1/2 page) $330 + GST
Advertising (full page) $660 + GST
Area redevelopment plan (new or amendment) $2,500 + advertising
Area structure plan (new or amendment) $2,500 + advertising
Condominium fees
Traditional condominium endorsement fees $40 / unit
Development agreement fees
Development agreements (affecting fewer than 5 lots, and development agreement amendments)
Preparation $1,000 + GST
Construction completion $1,000 + GST
Final acceptance $1,000 + GST
Development agreements (affecting 5 or more lots)
Preparation $2,500 + GST
Construction completion $2,500 + GST
Final acceptance $2,500 + GST
Endorsement fees (subdivision) - lots referenced below do not include public utility lots or reserve lots. Remnant parcels are considered a lot for the purpose of endorsement fees.

Land Use Bylaw amendments
Redistricting (existing districts in LUB) $2,000 + advertising
Redistricting (new district or direct control)      $3,000 + advertising
Text amendment (minor) $2,000 + advertising
Text amendment (major) $3,000 + advertising
Municipal Development Plan
Municipal Development Plan amendment $2,000 + advertising (includes CRB referral)
Other fees 
Address change $250 + GST
Capital Region Board referral fee $800
Extension request to subdivision approval  $200.00
Postponement / discharge of caveat document execution $150 + GST
Recirculation fee - to be applied when applicant changes any of the above applications after circulation 25% of original fee
