How old does my dog have to be to require a dog license?
All dogs 6 months of age and older must be licensed.
Is there a bylaw about dog feces in parks and on pathways?
Yes. Dog owners are required to "scoop and bag" dog feces.
What do I do about a neighbours dog that barks constantly?
The City of Spruce Grove encourages neighbours to try and resolve these type of issues themselves, however when that approach is not possible, get in touch with us to report a problem.
The City of Spruce Grove will provide you and the dog owner a "Barking Package" to record the incidences of barking and determine the seriousness of the situation. Based on the responses, we may issue a violation ticket.
