The Eco Centre is located at 50 Diamond Avenue External 

Monday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: Noon – 8 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

The Eco Centre is closed on statutory holidays.

Accepted items

No charge
Blue bag recyclables
 Mixed paper, newspaper, boxboard, plastic containers #1-7, clear glass jars, deposit items
Cardboard
No larger than 2 feet x 2 feet
Electronics
Computer monitors and processors, cell phones, televisions, VCRs and DVD players, printers, laptops, stereos, microwaves
Household hazardous waste
Get the complete list
Organic waste
Place food and yard waste in compostable bags (look for brands like Bag to Earth, Bio Bag and Bio Sak). Bulk materials delivered by trucks or trailers will also be accepted at no charge.
Tires - rims removed

Disposal fee
Garbage $1 / bag
$5 / small item (e.g. chair)
$10 / large item (e.g. couch, box spring, mattress)
Propane tanks $3 / tank
White goods
Refrigerators, stoves, freezers, washers, dryers, air conditioners		 $15 / appliance
