Notes
  • Liquor licence required if serving alcohol.
  • When renting the auditorium you get the auxiliary room at no charge.
  • Bring your own coffee urns, dishes, cutlery, glasses, pot and pans, cooking accessories, tea towels and dish towels.
  • The lessee must pick up keys at City Hall on the last business day before the event.
  • Setup and takedown times must also be booked.
  • All bookings end at 2 a.m.
  • Persons signing the contract must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and floor cleaner in the janitorial room w/mop bucket.
  • The building is not air conditioned, but an air handling unit fan is used in the summer to circulate the air.
  • There is a projection screen on the wall above the stage. A cord is attached for pulling it down.
  • No overnight camping in the parking lot.
  • BBQ may be set up outside on the grass. If on pavement it must have plywood under it.

Cancellation policy

  • With 30 days written notice of cancellation, the rental fee, minus $50 or 10 per cent (whichever is greater), will be refunded. With less than 30 days written notice, The City may retain the entire rental fee.
  • The City may terminate this rental agreement for extenuating circumstances, with written notice of cancellation to the lessee. If there is detrimental behaviour towards the community or facility the lessee is to vacate the facility immediately together with any guests.
