Animal Control
We provide animal control services; if you need to register a complaint about a neighbour's pet, report a stray dog, or report an animal that is the victim of road kill, get in touch with us to report a problem.
Dog licensing
The City of Spruce Grove requires annual licensing of all dogs every January. Failure to purchase a dog licence each year could result in prosecution for bylaw violation. Certificate of proof of neutering or spaying is required from a veterinarian.
Should your dog no longer be with your family in Spruce Grove, contact us 
to cancel your dog licence and avoid unnecessary billing or bylaw enforcement.
Lost or found animals
Visit PetLynx 
to report a lost or found pet. You can create a lost or found report and get alerts via email as well as print posters. PetLynx is dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their owners and providing support while doing so.
The Parkland Animal Shelter contains a gallery of found and adoptable animals. All animals that enter the shelter can be viewed online. Pictures are normally posted within one hour of the animal entering the shelter but that time can vary depending on when it is brought in (i.e. weekends/holidays). After three days the information is updated to indicate that the animal is now adoptable.
