Minutes are an important record for the decision making process and are required to document the information that the organization is responsible and accountable. Learn the skills to produce exceptional and well-summarized minutes that accurately reflect the key details and decisions of meetings. Learn how to capture the necessary information, to record the information, to format appropriately, and to distribute minutes with timeliness.

Process: This seminar provides high practical and experiential components including a case study; ongoing opportunities for participant questions and/or answers; as well as mini lectures and group discussions.

Event Planning for Volunteer Managers

Whether it's a fundraiser, volunteer appreciation, bottle drive or information session...it's an event!  Volunteer  managers,  need  to  be  able  to create  successful,  relevant  events  that  achieve  the goals and objective of the organization.   Whilst utilizing resources, time and money effectively.

In this 1-day workshop, you will discover how to:

  • Research types of events
  • Create the event plan
  • Manage the planning process
  • Coordinate all elements and details involved for successful execution of the event
  • Create an evaluation report
