Subdivision and Development Appeal Board

The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) is a quasi-judicial board established under the Municipal Government Act of the Province of Alberta. It is a tribunal, consisting of a minimum of three members, one of which must be an alderman, while the remaining members must be residents of Spruce Grove. The SDAB hears appeals from a decision of the Subdivision Authority or the Development Authority, and renders decisions based on the evidence presented.

Citizen members are appointed for a term of up to three years, and no member can serve more than three consecutive terms.
