What is eyeGO to the Arts?

eyeGO to the ArtseyeGO to the Arts External is a program designed to encourage students in grades 10, 11 and 12 to attend performances in the Arts. Upon presentation of suitable ID, they can purchase tickets for $5.

Spruce Grove area youth can purchase Horizon Stage Performing Arts Centre tickets at this affordable price.

If I buy an eyeGO ticket will I have bad seats?

No. eyeGO tickets are sold on a best-available basis.

How can I buy tickets?

The best way is to go to the City Hall Ticket Centre, 315 Jespersen Avenue and ask for an eyeGO ticket. You must show your student ID card when you pick your ticket up. You can also reserve your tickets ahead of time by calling the City Hall Ticket Centre at 780-962-8995.

What if I don’t have a student card?

No problem! Just bring your most recent report card with you when you purchase / pick up your ticket. You must also present a secondary form of ID.

Will I be guaranteed an eyeGO ticket if I ask for one?

No. There are only a certain number of seats made available for eyeGO tickets for each show. However, the Box Office is not obligated to hold those tickets for eyeGO students.

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?

You may purchase only one ticket per show, for yourself, with your student ID card.

As a parent, if I have a child who is not yet in high school, can I purchase an eyeGO ticket for them?

No. This program is designed to specifically encourage high school students to choose the performances they see.

eyeGO is as easy as going to a movie

  1. Check out Horizon Stage Performing Arts Centre External season and pick a show or two or three;
  2. Go to the City Hall Ticket Centre in Spruce Grove, located at 315 Jespersen Avenue, and present your student ID. Or call 780-962-8995 for telephone purchase (bring your ID when you come to pick up your ticket);
  3. Ask for an eyeGo to the Arts ticket (limited availability) and buy a ticket for the show(s) you want to see;
  4. Pay your 5 bucks! Done and Done. Enjoy the show!
